Why This Draw Is Important
This latest draw highlights Canada’s continued focus on attracting French-speaking immigrants outside Quebec. The lower CRS cut-off score of 409 provided a strong opportunity for candidates with French-language skills to secure an invitation for permanent residence.
Canada has been actively promoting Francophone immigration to support bilingual communities and address labour shortages across different provinces. Candidates with strong French proficiency often receive additional CRS points, improving their chances of selection in Express Entry draws.
What This Means for French-Speaking Candidates
The large number of invitations issued in this draw reflects Canada’s commitment to increasing Francophone immigration targets. Candidates who can demonstrate strong French-language abilities through approved language tests may benefit from category-based selection rounds like this one.
For applicants with French-language skills, this is an excellent opportunity to improve their chances of Canadian permanent residency even with comparatively lower CRS scores.
What to Do If You Were Invited
Candidates invited in this round now have 60 days to submit their complete permanent residence application. It is important to ensure all documents, including language test results, educational credentials, work experience documents, and proof of funds, are ready before submission.
Those who did not receive an ITA in this draw can still improve their CRS scores by enhancing language results, gaining additional work experience, or securing a provincial nomination.
