Queensland – Skilled migration program 2021–22

The Queensland government has announced that Queensland Skilled migration program is now open for nomination #Subclass190 and #Subclass491

“We have very particular skills and labour needs in Queensland,” the department stated, “and we have been discussing with industry to ensure the nomination process will fulfil those needs.”

For 2021-22, the Australian government has granted 1,000 places for the Skilled Nominated Subclass 190 visa and 1,250 places for the Skilled Work Regional (Provisional) Subclass 491 visa to the Queensland government.

Migration Queensland will be available until the quota is filled for the 2021–22 Skilled Migration programme year.

Note: Only “decision-ready” applications will be accepted by Migration Queensland. These applications will not be accepted or examined if they are incomplete or contain out-of-date papers.
